Why list through winter?

Well, like many out there waiting for the Spring market to resurface....here is some food for thought. Why wait til spring? If you are contemplating selling your home in the spring you are among many....many......many. So, consider using winter to list your home and it could mean extra money for your pocket book. It's all about the basics of supply and demand. At this time a nicely finished home in a good area is demanding multiple offers in a market which everyone is talking down. Why?......because of lack of inventory. The same home in the spring when there are 10 other homes to choose from on your street offering same quality and price probably won't demand the same price. So if you are a buyer looking for that dream home for the first time, Spring is a great time to start with plenty of choice driving down prices. If you are a Seller, chances are you will have more competition in the Spring with many of your neighbours haveing similar ideas so.......beat them to home plate and count your extra money. There are still buyers wandering around out there with nothing to buy.
